Join this Unforgettable Christian Cruise to Alaska with Chuck Swindoll and Insight for Living
Have you recently found yourself longing for an opportunity to rest, reconnect with your family, reflect on God’s Word, and renew your relationship with Him? If so, Cynthia and I invite you and your family to step away from your busy world and join us and others from the Insight for Living family on our 2012 Alaska Cruise, Cultivating Your Family’s Pioneer Spirit!
While we’re cruising together on the luxury liner ms Westerdam, I’ll be bringing several messages of truth and encouragement from God’s Word, focusing on how pioneers before us led with faith, vision, commitment, courage, and determination—foundations of a strong family. These sessions will be onboard, where we will gather for learning, worship, and interaction. Your kids will also love being with us, as they will learn in their own fun and creative environments. Children’s pastor, Dave Carl, and youth pastor, Jason Stevenson—both from Stonebriar Community Church in Frisco, Texas—are already excited about making this a life-impacting trip for your kids!
Featured guests for our sessions will be world-renowned vocalist and performer David Gaschen; consummate piano accompanist Garry Bailey; one of Nashville’s finest harmonica stylists and guitarists Buddy Greene, accompanied by multi-instrumentalist Jeff Taylor; outstanding Steinway pianists Stephen Nielson and Ovid Young; and remarkable ventriloquist David Pendleton with his cast of “friends.”
Please take a moment to look through this online brochure for helpful descriptions of the places we’ll visit on our Insight for Living 2012 Alaska Cruise. Then call Inspiration Cruises & Tours at 888 447 0444 to reserve your place today. You’ll never forget this week!
Anticipating great things ahead,

Charles R. Swindoll
Meet These Special Guests During Your Exceptional Travel Experience
David Gaschen, a world-renowned vocalist and performer, is no stranger to entertaining. David is a graduate of the Texas Tech University School of Music, where he received a degree in Vocal Performance. In 1995, at the age of 26, he was cast as an alternate in the role of the Phantom in the original Swiss production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera, marking David as the youngest person to play the role. He reprised his role in the German and Broadway productions and has performed the role of Phantom more than 1,300 times. Although this dynamic performer loves the stage, David has recorded several CDs, including the self-titled, David Gaschen and Let Me Sing and I'm Happy. He also performs on Broadway's Fabulous Phantoms with the likes of Howard McGillin, Hugh Panaro and Michael Crawford. David and his beautiful wife, Jeanne, are thankful to God for the best productions to date: their wonderful son, Andrew, and incredible daughter, Molly Marie.

As the consummate piano accompanist, Garry Bailey is most comfortable when he speaks with his fingers. His ear for music, combined with his classical music technique and training received from Columbia University, enable him to fluidly move with great delight through the styles of contemporary and traditional Christian music, jazz and Broadway music. He tailors each keyboard arrangement to fit the singing style of the artist with whom he is working. Garry has journeyed with Insight for Living on three occasions. He is actively engaged in teaching music and frequently travels with performing vocalists. Garry and his wife, Suzanne, are based in Evansville, Indiana, and are the parents of two sons, Christopher and Andrew.

As one of the premiere ventriloquists in the U.S., when David Pendleton performs with his “cast of characters,” you’ll believe anything can talk! A truly remarkable 20-year veteran entertainer, David’s humor and stellar technique keeps audiences laughing from start to finish.
David brings to his show a wide range of comedic characters, including lovable and blunt Aunt Tilly, a 94-year-old, quick-witted troublemaker; Mack Elroy with his laid-back sidekick, Buford the beagle; and Vern, a slightly misguided albino vulture. And be prepared for a few surprise appearances from audience members!

CRUISING GLACIER BAY (July 3)
As Biosphere Reserve and UNESCO World Heritage Site, Glacier Bay National Park; protects a unique ecosystem of plants and animals living in concert with an ever-changing glacial landscape. How does it feel when a monumental chunk of ice splits off a glacier and crashes into the sea? The sound is like thunder. The impact shoots water hundreds of feet into the air. You hold your breath as you catch the moment on film. Then you wait for it all to happen again. And it does. Glacier Bay has more actively calving tidewater glaciers than anyplace else in the world.CRUISING GLACIER BAY (July 3)
